Experienced adult climbers may only use the Cave upon completion of a waiver form and a short introductory session (for the first visit only).
Experienced climbers under 18 who wish to climb unsupervised must have a waiver form signed by his/her own parent/carer.
The Management Board of Trust Thamesmead would like to draw to the attention of climbers the following British Mountaineering Council (BMC) Participation Statement:
“The BMC recognises that climbing is an activity with a danger of personal injury or death. Participants should be aware of and accept these risks and be responsible for their own actions and involvement.”
